Using a robust 6mm Correx board, our standard commercial sign boards are printed single-sided for use on a freestanding frame or on a wall. We can also use two boards together to form a ‘v’ shape.

Heavy Duty
In certain circumstances a more substantial solution is required, and so we recommend a 10mm Foamex board. Foamex is an excellent material for commercial sign boards, with a smooth finish and great durability, but without a high price tag.
For commercial sign boards which will be permanently in place, or for an extended period, we offer a 3mm dibond board (which is two sheets of aluminium with a layer of polyethylene in between). This construction is particularly strong and hardwearing, but also lightweight.

Why use our Commercial Sign Boards?
The Correx used to make our standard commercial sign boards is of high quality, industry-standard construction; some poorer quality sign boards are translucent so the supporting frame or wall is visible through the board, making them look cheap and down-market. For our Heavy Duty Boards extra-thick 10mm Foamex is used, which is strong but lightweight. After printing, each board goes through a UV drying process to give the best possible bond between the ink and the board. This means that the boards have maximum durability, come rain or shine! In addition, the Correx used for our sign boards is fully recyclable, so you know that in choosing EA Boards you are ‘doing your bit’ for the environment too. In keeping with our environmentally-conscious ethos, we recommend that the recycling identification code be printed somewhere on the sign board to ensure that it is correctly recycled once it has reached the end of its life.
